Program Manager for Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative

The Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative is an interdisciplinary team based at Stanford PACS, working at the intersection of human centered design, strategic philanthropy, and the behavioral sciences. EPLI designs and test methods, messages, products and services to increase donor impact.  Stanford PACS Faculty co-Director Paul Brest is the Principal Investigator for EPLI. The Effective Philanthropy Learning Initiative at Stanford PACS is seeking an experienced, motivated, and diligent candidate for the Program Manager position. In this position, you will be a thought partner for the Principal Investigator and Lab Director. You will have the opportunity to represent EPLI with external audiences, including funders and research partners, and at conferences and other public events. You may be expected to co-author or draft sections of research reports, white papers, or book chapters for publication. Under the supervision of the EPLI Director, you will be responsible for overall EPLI management and operations, including managing the budget, and supervision and training of fellows and studentinterns. In collaboration with the Stanford PACS External Relations Team, you will be responsible for developing and managing content for the EPLI website as well as for proposal writing, reporting, and stewardship of EPLI funders. Your responsibilities include: Recommend and execute marketing strategies to meet business objectives. Manage marketing plans/programs to meet business objectives, including collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendor partners. Implement integrated marketing communications and brand strategy, across a variety of channels (i.e., digital and print). Oversee design and production of marketing materials from inception to deployment. Conduct market research, including competitive benchmarking, and analyze program/event effectiveness used to inform decisions regarding strategic marketing direction, product segmentation and customer targeting. Assess market opportunities and track market trends. Recommend marketing improvements based on findings. Plan and execute events to support marketing objectives. Manage vendors/consultants on specific projects. Manage project/program budget(s) and coordinate invoice processing. May oversee interns and othercontingent staff; provide staff training. - Other duties may also be assigned To be successful in this position you will bring: Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience. Previous experience in product, program, and/or services marketing. Ability to drive cross-functional groups toward a common goal. Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Understands how to implement integrated marketing programs across channels including digital and print. Experience with market research and data analysis. Demonstrated problem solver. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. In addition, preferred requirements include: Deep knowledge of and experience with philanthropy/social sector.  Preference given to applicants who have previous work experience in the philanthropy sector.  Strong research and writing skills. Demonstrated success with project management and staff supervision; ability to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Enjoys working on a small team, flexibility with competing demands, and ability to prioritize and multi-task. 81238

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
