?The Opportunity: As a part-time Yoga Instructor on the Stanford University campus you will help to nurture each child?s creativity and curiosity on the path of growth and early learning. ???


Key Responsibilities:?




  • Work with children ages 2 months to 5 years old, including those with individual and special needs.


  • Lead 14 classrooms and 265 children in yoga sessions throughout the week.?


  • Create a culturally inclusive program that reflects the diversity of our Stanford community. ?


  • Promote a focus on mindfulness, breathing and dynamic body movements for children.


  • Plan activities that develop positive self-esteem and social skills for children.


  • Display a strong understanding and working knowledge of early child development.


  • Collaborate with classroom teams on an ongoing basis.


  • Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide opportunities for parent involvement. ??



Minimum Qualifications:




  • Knowledge of Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.


  • Yoga Certification (over 250 hours) from a reputable institute.


  • 2+ years of experience as a Yoga Instructor for young children.


  • A positive attitude, flexibility and enthusiasm for education and learning.


  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.?


  • US Work Authorization and excellent references.


  • Submission of TB clearance and background check.


  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
