CPQCC Data Center Program ManagerThe California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC), housed at Stanford University School of Medicine, is seeking a Program Manager to join its NICU Data Center team.
CPQCC's mission is to improve the quality and equity of health care delivery for California's most vulnerable infants and their families, from birth and NICU stay to early childhood.
We work with our members to determine, implement and sustain best practices to improve outcomes and reduce disparities in care for families and infants, providing rapid cycle data, quality improvement tools, and strategies for clinicians to improve perinatal outcomes.
Among this set of tools is the NICU Data system, a set of web applications that provide quality metrics and resources to participating hospitals and hospital staff.
CPQCC is looking for candidates with diverse backgrounds to become part of the NICU Data Center team; the successful candidate will be trained on the NICU data and reporting applications.
The ideal Program Manager will thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented and collaborative environment, and enjoy providing support to customers at over 130 California NICUs-helping hospital users to access and navigate the application, and interpret and utilize the data to drive their quality improvement activities.
Program managers also support CPQCC special projects, which might include designing and implementing new web tool features, supporting membership services, or supporting IRB and research applications.
The CPQCC Data Center Program Manager will work collaboratively with CPQCC leadership and staff to ensure the continued success of the data center, which houses secure data and reporting systems for our members.
Bay Area residents are strongly preferred for this Stanford-based position and will be expected to work at CPQCC's Palo Alto offices at least twice a week.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
oManage the recruitment, onboarding, training, tracking, and member support for all hospitals and healthcare systems that join CPQCC, maintaining accountability for successful use of the NICU data systems by members.
oManage the internal (CPQCC Data Committee, CPQCC Data Center Advisory Group - DCAG, CCS/CPQCC HRIF-QCI, CPQCC/CMQCC Research, PQIP) and external stakeholders (VON, CCS, CPeTS, CMQCC, MCCPOP/ RPPC) who are collaborators with the CPQCC Data Center.
oAnalyze and report on database and reporting use patterns, user roles oWorking with CPQCC management, assist in the review and oversight of the CDC application and the development of products aimed at supporting client use of the CDC application.
oSupport updates to the quality measures utilized within the CDC application, including reviews of updated measure specifications and coding used in measure algorithms.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
The pay range for this position working in the California Bay area is between $64,000 to $120,000 based on commensurate experience and background.
Qualifications:
Master's degree with an emphasis on healthcare research preferred.
At least 3 years of experience with healthcare data and analytics preferred.
Experience managing complex projects desired.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
